As so many senior citizens are forced to isolate due to the virus, there are many of them feeling lonely without their normal visits. That’s why some Canadian high schoolers pre-recorded jokes and stories and put them on a hotline at 1-877-JOY-4ALL. Now, senior citizens can call up the hotline and feel some companionship. Keeping your mental state positive in these times is so important and this will definitely help them do that.
Free Coffee for Essential Workers
Our essential workers are working harder than ever to fight off this virus while we stay home to do our part. These heroes are working long and hard hours, which is why a San Francisco barista is making delicious coffee for essential workers and delivering it to them at their window! Maintaining social distancing guidelines, he is brightening these workers day while also fueling them for their job!
SNL at Home
With New York City being the epicenter of the virus in the United States, one of the cities’ staples was forced to cancel their shows for the remainder of the year. But as the city often does, it showed its resilience to the world. Dispersed across the country, the cast of SNL produced a show from home, hosted by Coronavirus survivor, Tom Hanks. With a touching tribute to a crew member lost and hilarious skits poking fun at quarantine, the case allowed the world to forget about what’s going on and laugh for a couple hours.
