3 Boston Startups That Give Back

TagHawk is celebrating some local startups that are giving back to their community. These companies realize that their philanthropic success is just as important as their professional success, and it definitely shows.

CrunchTime

CrunchTime gives back to the community in several ways from giving blood to preparing Thanksgiving dinners. One service that was really special was when employees had the opportunity to serve lunch to veterans at the New England Home for Veterans. Being able to interact with the veterans and hopefully brighten their day is something that both CrunchTime employees and the brave veterans will never forget.

Carbon Black

Carbon Black employees are able to participate in a “Week of Giving Back” which allows them to participate in several service opportunities. A really cool opportunity that employees got to join was STEMatch Career Day in which they got to spend time with sixth graders in their office, running them through a rotation of careers in the industry. To be able to experience the startup culture at such a young age is an invaluable experience for the kids.

TagHawk

TagHawk is partnering with a couple of extremely important organizations in order to give back. One of which is the MSPCA, an organization that fosters and finds homes for thousands of animals with the help of generous donations. We are donating $5 when you register on the app with the code mspca5! We also have a new partnership with United Way, an organization that helps the community through volunteering, charitable donations, and disaster relief. It’s a really exciting partnership and we look forward to giving our customers a way to help us give back!
